What is a software integration?
- It is a connection between two tools you already use so a record created in one appears in the other without anyone retyping it. A booking becomes a calendar entry and an invoice. An enquiry becomes a contact record. The work is deciding which system is the source of truth for each piece of information, then making the others follow it.
Do I have to replace the tools I already pay for?
- Usually not, and I will say so if replacing something is genuinely the cheaper answer. The starting assumption is that the software you have is fine and the gaps between it are the problem. Swapping platforms costs money, retraining and months of disruption, so it is a last resort rather than the opening move.
Which tools can be connected?
